Hey folks, Harry here... Have you ever seen a 'nudie movie'. Not a porn... not an R-rated film. But a Nudie movie. That special sort of film that played at Stag parties and cigar clubs for men... Have you see Betty Page spank another woman in hose? Have you seen a Doris Wishman movie? Did you ever stumble across WAGES OF SIN? The world of Herschell Gordon Lewis... before he discovered GORE? How about the bizarre masterpiece... SHE-FREAK? We like to think there was a time where films like THE EROTIC WITCH PROJECT weren't around, but truth be told... they are as old as the advent of film. Rare... for sure, many of these films didn't have people archiving and saving them. They were GrandPa's little 5 minute reel back behind the peaches in the garage... you know... Top Shelf? Right. Well the roadshows also had feature length films that toured around... from gymnasiums to afterhours shows at theaters and in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce... In the biggest cities, they played in the seedier side of town, and in upscale parties... As the sexual revolution started kicking in... as the Hays Office shut down... The films were finally able to play at drive ins and the less spectacular movie palaces... Ah, now this MAU MAU SEX SEX is a documentary telling ya all about it and showing ya even more. |
