| Movie Exploits- 2 Stars! We can learn much from the masters, but the accumulated wisdom of "nudie/cutie" pioneers Dan Sonney and David Friedman is perhaps not what cinephiles have in mind. This spirited documentary shows us the hazards of filming volleyball at nudist camps and the marketing possibilities of women mating with gorillas. Ted Bonnitt's look at exploitation films features exhaustive interviews with the long-retired Sonney and Friedman, who made a decent living producing such memorable titles as "She Freak" and "A Smell of Honey, A Swallow of Brine." Clips from films featuring as many topless women as could be squeezed into a story line and enthusiastic explication by filmmaker Frank Henenlotter ("Basket Case") keep "Mau Mau" bouncing along.
